Staycation MERN
A full-stack web application for a staycation booking platform designed to simplify vacation planning. This project is built using the MERN architecture (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) on the client side to create an interactive interface, and EJS and Bootstrap implementations on the admin dashboard for centralized master data management (categories, banks, items) and order management.
My Contributions
- Built a responsive and interactive front-end user interface (UI) using React.js to ensure a seamless navigation experience.
- Designed and developed an admin dashboard using EJS, Bootstrap, and Express.js to facilitate content management and transaction monitoring.
- Developed a RESTful API with Node.js and Express.js to efficiently handle business logic and server-side booking systems.
- Designed and maintained a NoSQL database schema using MongoDB to store accommodation data, user details, and transaction history.
- Implemented key client features such as popular destination search, transparent pricing information, and a room booking flow.
- Performed full end-to-end (E2E) integration between the front-end (React.js) and back-end (Node.js/Express) to ensure smooth data flow.
